In spite of pandemic, we still had the chance to welcome a small group of international students at IHECS. And even if we welcomed 15 instead of 75 students this semester, we promise they will never forget their IHECSperience.
At the beginning of September, the International dream-team 2020 started the year at IHECS with the famous “Integration week”. These five days were adapted to be covid-friendly, but the program remained attractive.
The students could visit Brussels with a local guide, learned how to make chocolate, discovered the world of Belgian comic books and the Atomium. Meanwhile, they attended introduction courses about Belgian medias, culture or politics. This intense week seems very intellectual, but no worries, the International team also proposed moments together to share and relax, such as Belgian fries tasting or a covid-friendly drink together and even a bowling!
This integration week and all the international life can be followed on two specific channels: our blog and our Instagram account. Students who would be interested in participating in these two projects by writing, filming, podcasting,… can send an email to annececile.voisin@galilee.be.
This article is also a way to share a message from International team to our international students. We warmly welcome you at IHECS, even in these strange conditions. We wish you all the best and we promise to prepare activities and moments of sharing in order not to forget anything about thisexperience in Brussels. And if you need advice about courses, Belgian places and culture or student life in Brussels, you can always knock at our door (if you are brave enough to climb to the top of the BV building, of course). It’s a pleasure to be there for you.
Enjoy your academic life, enjoy Brussels, enjoy your IHECSperience!
